Unforseen consequences of using a coop like this?

Hello, my first coop was a proper building with insulation, built in nesting boxes, and a little chicken door. It was also $1700.

For our meat birds, we thought we might go a little cheaper. We saw an old article from a chicken farmer who uses cattle panels and tarp.

We're planning to put tarp in the front and the back as well and put chickens in there about 6 sq ft to a chicken. It'll be inside a roofed run. Somewhat mobile, but it'll kinda scrape on the chicken wire roof. Am I missing something here or is this a sound idea? It'll be Bresse chickens, and when they go broody we were thinking of moving them to the proper coop, if that's even possible.

Ive used CP like that for both tractors and actual permanent coops. Never had the ends open before, but don't see a reason it wouldnt work inside your already built run.

How many Bresse will you have in it?

This is what I used for my first run. I wanna do this again but this time have the chicken wire on the inside of the welded wire. Fully enclosed, roofed, 2900 sq ft. But we didn't dig this time!

Which means we have to make up for it by stacking a couple tons of big rocks up against the fencing, up about 6 inches I think
