My tuffed roman goose hatched out 4 of 5 eggs day before yesterday , the remaning egg was pushed to the side yesterday, I went out a little while ago to change the babies water and picked up the left over egg thinking it was bad and almost tossed it but decided to candle it on the way to get the flashlight i felt movement ,well it's still hanging in there so i put it in my hatcher as i have keets hatching right now,so we will see what happens.

My question is can i place the gosling with the mother at night when and if it hatches or is it a hit and miss thing like chickens?

My geese are free ranged but she has not brought her babies out of the greenhouse yet, so i was not sure if she will accept the late hatch if she starts bringing them out.

Here is the new family

I don't think you'll have a problem. I've had to take babies from my geese and then returned them 2 weeks later and they've accepted them. Are both your geese Roman Tufted? Cause if so, it looks like she hatched out all boys!

I have Roman Tufted's too and I LOVE them!

Yes they are both tufted romans.

Two of them have some gray on on them and one has a gray spot on it's back does that mean it is a female or male?

My buyer is comming to get the guinea keets when they are done hatching, if the goslings are all boys he can have them also , don't need any more males.

so i fixed my coffee and went back to look again then i heard it but still could not see it, HUM no way it could get behind the hatching box HUM, looked one more time and then i saw it it was gray and blended in with the lavender guinea keets.

So i know for sure thats a female but the others only have a splash of gray, does that mean they are male or female?

I got a photo of one with a splash of gray that hatched under the goose but the one that is in the hatcher has lots of gray, i will get a photo of it when i take it out, it is still wet and the keets are still hatching.
Here is one with a splash of gray.

Thank you all for the help,
I am going to keep the one i know is a little girl and my buyer said he will take the rest.
Hopefully she will be ready to go out with mom and dad in the next day or so,i already have one female that is in love with the roosters because they were raised with chicks ,thank goodness they did not all turn into chicken lovers
