Unhatched egg

Just a little back story. The two ducklings I bought from tractor supply are all grown up! Roan ended up being a drake and soon after he started doing what boys do, Lily decided she wanted to sit on eggs. All was well until Lily changed her mind and abandoned the nest about a week before they were ready to hatch. I bought an incubator and moved her 3 eggs into it. Two completed the hatch this morning but the third has not even pipped yet (now 48 hrs after the 1st egg pipped). There is a dark spot on the side of the egg. I candled it this morning and the duckling is alive. With the light on it, I can see yellow running towards the air sack from the dark spot. I have no clue what to do. Should I leave it alone or should I help the duckling out?

How frustrating!
I’ve never hatched eggs, hopefully someone with experience will chime in soon. Good luck!

Definitely leave it because it needs to do this on its own. It will more than likely die if you begin assistance..

I agree, just concerned about the dark spot and the yellow running towards the air sac.

Nothing you can do..Just keep waiting.

Sounds like possibly the yolk sac got nicked when the duckling may have been turning in the egg.

How likely is the duckling to survive?

If you can still see the duckling moving then I'd just leave it alone. I'd hate to say how likely since I've never experienced this before.
