50% of the money taken in from the ticket sales goes to the hosting club. The other 50% is the winnings that are available. I don't know if they are dividing it between a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place or if one person gets it all.

If you are NPIP certified then you just have to bring your card to show to the Vets. If you are NOT NPIP then any birds will have to be tested at the door before entry. If you had some tested at another show then you should have gotten a Pink paper/receipt. The birds on that paper are good to go for 90 days at any NC show. If you forget the paper to show to the Vets they will have to be tested again.

OK ... I have my pink paper
In my show bag...... but could not remember when the NC changes go into effect for out of staters.
I am considering the NPIP certification classes for SC.....not sure if I will be able to make it or not, so may just have to have a tester come here instead of me getting certified to do it.......way my luck goes I would not be able to get anyone here for a month
So DD needs to get hers tested at the door right? she did not enter anything last time so we weren't sure how that would work this time.
The NPIP goes into affect for out of staters in April of this year, as I understand it. I live in VA and all I had to do was show the the NC testers at the door my pink paper that my tester provided and I was in the show. I am good for the 90 days too. Now, in March for the VA group.. we are having a free certification class on how to test your birds for AI. Once this is done and you become certified we can test our birds and any other birds in the state of VA. This certification is good for 3 years as a certified tester for AI.
