I don’t let my girls out of the run due to predator risks, but apparently I forgot to close their gate yesterday morning and the evening wind blew the gate open.

They enjoyed their moment of freedom, until my spouse glanced out the window and ran out in a panic, to spend 30 minutes herding seven chickens back in. Fortunately they were all accounted for.

Hilarious! Those sneaky girls wait for any opportunity to escape!
Before "Braveheart" got her wings clipped, she would go to any extreme to escape. She's always been our boldest and most curious since she was a chick. She gladly takes any chance she gets to explore new territory!
