Unique Color- "Pied"?

So which one would you say it is on these birds?

We Will need to see the chick down pattern to even speculate on it

I found these pictures on another site.
They almost look to have regular mille fluers type mottling. Maybe the whitish birds are very old individuals? Weird how the mottling seems to be more concentrated on the breast and back.

I hypothesize That the mottling mutation(non-coding cis-regulatory) found on D'uccle was the first and That other mutations came later, this is not the only of this type of non-coding mutations. The sex linked barring allele have 3 known mutations, B0 is the first and is called sex linked extreme dilution it's genetic sequence is identical to the wildtype b+ allele but it was found to have two non-coding cis-regulatory mutations.

Was doing some more searching and while this breed does have the regular mille fleur coloring, it seems like this "pied" color is separate.

You're right, they seem to have head spots of color kind of like other mottling types. I wish I knew what would happen if they were bred with Anconas or other breeds with European mottling.

No they are not, but Sultan bantams are pretty much the same thing, only white.
If you crossed a d'Uccle and a Pyncheon, you'd get the mile fluer version.

I wish they were but like most international breeds and land races they are not. Wish someone could do the hard (and expensive) work importing them!

Same. I'd love to have some but I'm not going to spend years breeding to just get this bird
