OH I LOVE KILLDEER! they chase our lawn mower

We took one to a rehabilitator because it had gotten hit by a car or something and it ended up dying sadly, but good luck with yours!

Anyone who wants Killdeer should come hang out at our house. Those things nest all over our field. field road, and the gravel road that runs by our house. Last night they kept us up till 11:30 screeching at something...DH doesnt care what he runs over with the tractors, so i'd rather that the things just not be around since I dont like the thought of them getting squished. We have a hawk that nests in the field every summer and loses her nest EVERY summer at harvest but she wont move to a safer spot...very sad but at least they arent going to eat my chickens later!

Id love to keep em, But im just going to let them stay in my duck pen (it has a top on it) but theres plenty places for em to get out at, if they get out or one gets out, then they can go, if they wanna stay they can stay doesnt matter to me

Finally, Here are some better pics of em, ive had em for 2 and half weeks now so id guess their about 3 weeks, How long should I wait to put them outside in a bigger pen?
