Unknown killer

I have (had) 5 hens. Something got into my pen last night and killed only 1 and left her body. She was partially eaten. I only saw a small area where the fence doesn't go all the way to the ground that something could have gotten in. My fence has a top on it. Any ideas what it was??

Where do you live? I've heard weasels will kill but not eat their prey. Pictures might help too if the body is still there.

Sounds like a possum or a coon....a weasel would've killed all it saw.
