    Hi All,
First time posting here after having chickens for several months now.
I recently purchased some chicks and after keeping them in our mud room I moved them out to our coop. I went out to see them this morning and 3 chicks were missing out right while another 2 had been moved onto a ledge in the coop and were just barely attacked. Also strange was that a corn cob that was in the coop was also moved from the floor of the coop onto the ledge where the dead chicks were. I've looked through the predator lists all over the place but can't figure out what might be going on. I have an electric fence all around the coop and didn't see a source of forced entry.

    Thanks in advance!

I have never seen this but almost the only chicken predator capable of moving a corn cob in this manner is a raccoon.
