Unknown Predator.

@jnicholes I admire your dedication to help your friend. You're a good friend.
You know, the 'coons and skunks will still come around whether the holes are fixed or not. If they're repaired, they just won't get in. Please do make sure the patches are done before you camp out for the night. You'll get a shot at them, for sure. They might even put on a show for you out of frustration! LOL

@ChickensComeHome2Roost I agree with you completely. I’m just trying to help out the best way I know how.

If they don’t get it fixed and they lose their chickens, it’s their fault. I’m doing my best to help them, though.
I'm rooting for you to come post an update with a dead raccoon (I suppose with that 50 cal BP rifle, raccoon mist) tomorrow morning and friend fixing up the run & coop. If skunk #2 sprays you and/or friend's husband as a comedic bonus, I'll take it.

Preparing for the ambush. I also have some good news.

It looks like my friend learned her lesson, and has fortified the run further. Every crack is sealed, there’s no way a raccoon can get in. There’s actually a lot of improvement from when I was here yesterday.
