Unknown reason for hens constant feather pecking

That's higher protein. But it's not animal protein. You've pretty much stated that you will do it your way.
I think your reading to far between the lines and missing my major concern which is the horror stories I have heard from various ppl including family on feeding eggs and meat. Yes it seems those that have commented have had success doing so but that's only a handful. So the way I see it is 50/50. I do take suggestions on board in fact the person who talked about trying pinless peepers was brilliant as I never heard of them but did a quick look up and decided to buy some. In the end it's my choice if I do feed them meat and eggs and no one else's. Yes I asked for advice but I'm also asking for alternative ideas of protein for chickens because you don't have to strictly feed them proteins from meat from what I have read.

I want to say I now feel this is nothing to do with diet. I feel like this hen is just a bully any suggestions how to bring her down a few notches? Maybe put her in a small coop and run for a bit?

Sure, excluding her from the flock for a couple of weeks will bring her down a peg or two in the pecking order, once she is returned to the flock.

If you go to the second post of the link that posted as topic of the week, you'll see a summary of feather pecking issues and more importantly, links to sources used. Literature does emphasise the need for animal- based protein. Having said that, from what I read on the topic and providing chickens are fed proprietary feed, diet is not likely to be the primary cause of feather pecking.

I have another coop I just need my hubby repair hopefully that will be today so I can move her for a bit. I was just given a load of frozen minced beef (ground beef) this morning, I managed to stuff a bit in my freezers but no more room I feed my cats and dog small amounts but can I feed it to chickens? I weary of doing it but I don't feel like it should go to waste.

They will happily eat it.

We have used the chicken aprons/saddles in the past with good success for this issue.
