"So was I" she said sarcastically, smiling sweetly. She looked at her pups who had appeared behind Zeke. She looked at them and smiled again.

Zeke scowled. "Your act doesn't fool me. You want is your pups, but they have made their decision." He said. "You are now considered a trespasser." Zeke stepped closer to Lunar.
Lunar stepped closer to him, the same. Rylie whimpered. Costello shrank down.
Zeke didn't shrink back. Instead, he raised his head, ears, and tail. He met Lunar's eyes with a heavy stare, saying, "This is your last chance to leave peacefully."
Lunar stared at him. She laughed. Rylie stared at we and whined. Costello stood up and as tall as he could.
Zeke looked down at his paws, knowing that he had failed once again... Suddenly, he felt a rush of anger. He was through with being the clumsy, worthless Omega. Raising his head and baring his white fangs, he leaped at Lunar, knocking her flat.
Meringue was resting in her den.
Lunar yelped in confusion and bared her teeth. She stood up quickly and locked eyes with Rylie. Rylie stood rigid with shock. Costello sat and watched.
Zeke charged Lunar, snarling. He latched his jaws around her neck and held on tight.
Lunar yelped and turned him over. She pinned him on the ground and growled at him. She resisted the urge to bite his neck. She let him up and sat down, all of the anger drained out of her eyes. Her eyes were now filled with a mock innocence, once again.

Rylie stood up and walked toward her mother.
