Wouldn't it be interesting to see what the most popular breed of chicken is? This new survey is open until March 1. Spread the word!

    Thank you!

I currently have a good variety, but most (29) are chicks, and some will not be permanent additions:

    Dominique
    Serama
    Brown Leghorn
    Chantecler (buff, partridge and red)
    Buff Catalana
    Silver Kraienkoppes
    Blue Hamburg
    Red Cap
    White laced Red Cornish

So the only one I have from the poll list is leghorns.

Rooster -- Light Brahma (he was supposed to be a hen)

    Hens -- 2 Dark Brahmas
    2 Delawares
    1 Australorp
    1 Black Langshan

There were supposed to be 2, Light Brahma hens. One is now my rooster. The other was an error and was an extra "red boy" packing peanut.

I do actually still have my "red boys". They're in the freezer.
