unpopular chicken opinions??

i’m aware of another thread about this but it’s spiraling downhill so i thought i’d make a new one! keep it clean, be nice, and let any and all unpopular poultry opinions out! (doesn’t have to be just about chickens) i’ll start:


easter eggers are the bane of my existence and i don’t know how any of you tell the difference.

i honestly do not understand how frizzles can survive in cold conditions, chicken feather structures are sooooooo important to keeping warm, how do they maintain body temps???

I have a Frizzle and she does prefer to be in the barn when it's colder. But she isn't always huddled away like she's constantly cold

Unpopular opinion apparently:

It's okay to not want to cull, or to feel uncomfortable with the idea of culling


That being said, it's a part of chickens and poultry and will have to happen eventually, but it's okay to find someone else to do it for you
