Saw a show of kids hunting iguanas and got excited that they got a female full of eggs. They fried them up.

Did the iguana leave her eggs behind the way chickens do? Or did the children take the eggs from her? Are iguanas endangered?

is it an unpopular opinion if i say that the idea of walking my chicken down my residential area in a harness is just so appealing to me. it’s the dream really, normalize taking your chickens for a walk

The eggs were in the iguana. And in florida, they're actually considered pests

My chicks named Lizzie and Maggie end up being cockerels... by the time I knew, their names had stuck.

I had a silkie that I named Hennefer because she had a foot deformity (I fixed the fact that it was fused, but it ended up turning out). Then she grew a huge comb and started crowing. So I changed the name to Squawkimodo. Shortly after he discovered the joy of the ladies, he decided to buy himself a ticket to freezer camp by attacking my kid. :/

Well don’t feel too bad. My 2nd clutch was all boys. What a gang of ruffians they turned out to be! All gone now except one, have him still. And he’s still naughty, fights with his dad so they get free-ranged at separate times of the day.

Ok I understand if iguanas are a problem in Florida. I just can’t get past the idea of taking her eggs though
Chicken eggs are different because they leave them for us, especially if they don’t want to hatch them
