It's hard to manage depending on where you live (CURSE YOU CLAY SOIL) but I've mostly solved my mud issues with hugelkultur.

That 'u' is supposed to have an umlaut, but I'm too lazy to find it right now.

Here's an unpopular opinion that people can barbecue.
I HATE it when people put clothes on their chickens or put nail polish on their nails and take pics and videos with them like that.Animals aren't dolls or people's babies,they can be affectionate with their pets without making their birds go through that uncomfortable experience.It's not in the least bit "cute" because animals don't like it,especially chickens as it rubs their feathers the wrong way causing pain and even breakage!
