Unpopular chicken opinion: The color buff is UGLY unless it's on a buff brahma, in which case the black columbian patterning and black feathers compliment it well.

Agreed 100%. I also don’t mind buff laced. Also solid buff is okay on silkies. I can pass on Buff Brahmas. Don’t necessarily hate them though.

Haven't seen spangled, but buff laced is also ok and looks great IMO. If it's offset by another color, I think it looks pretty nice. But 9 times out of 10 it looks gross and washed out to me.

i honestly do not understand how frizzles can survive in cold conditions, chicken feather structures are sooooooo important to keeping warm, how do they maintain body temps???

I have 2 sizzlers & 3 sizzle mixes with either CQ, EE or silkie
