I'm pretty sure my 22 week old barred wyandotte was attacked by an owl, we came home to her laying down, blood on the side of her head and very disoriented. Shortly after we saw the owl fly down our neighbors driveway and the other two chickens flee. Her wounds have healed but she is very unstable and not eating real well. She prefers grapes and watermelon and soft foods like rice. I'm actually surprised she has survived as she has always been a little off and the smallest of my 3 chickens. The wound was close to her ear and her eye was closed for about 3 days. Wondering if she has partial blindness and maybe hearing loss. She is very sweet and although i'm not sure she will ever lay, I'm happy to have her! Any thoughts?
