My pekin has been stumbling. I checked for Bumblefoot and didn’t see anything. I noticed her feet were turning in and she was using her wings for balance. I googled symptoms and found it might be a niacin deficiency. I started Monday feeding her niacin supplements with her food but I noticed confusion and she seems to be losing some of her feathers. She also seems to be losing her sight!
Please help

I am sorry to hear about your Pekin How old is she and what are the niacin tablets your giving her. What do you feed? And is it possible to share a video?

Thank you for responding.
She might be about 3yrs old.
I got her in the spring after my other 2 ducks were killed by a raccoon
I feed my ducks Dumor pellets. I read all last weekend about niacin deficiency especially in pekins so I got brewers yeast and started Monday putting it on her food. Then I read about niacin rich foods for ducks and was also reminded about the importance of gut health (maybe parasites?)
So as of yesterday I personally feed her brown rice, tuna, pumpkin and peas along with her crushed brewers yeast and regular food. She’s good at eating it. For the first time I gave her in the afternoon peas with diatomaceous earth(food grade) mixed in for a treat. I’ll be letting everyone out in about 10 minutes so hopefully she’ll be doing a little better.

Do you think she could be overweight? Maybe molting? How much feed does she get a day? Does she seem in pain?
