Unsure if rooster has bumble foot

Im Not sure im my rooster groomer has bumble foot or not as I dont know what to look for. He isn't limping or anything. Thanks.

Looks like it on both feet, and maybe one of his toes. Bumblefoot looks like black scabs usually, though sometimes there is no scab and only swelling.

Is there an alternative to cutting the infected part out or does that need to be done sense its already black?

You can try soaking his feet and removing the scab without cutting. I've done that a few times before. Then you can pack his feet with antibiotic ointment and wrap with vet wrap.
