I bought chicks from the feed store here in FL. Two were labeled "Ideals", I think this is the farm they are from, correct? How will I know what breed they are? They are a fuzzy yellow leading to pale yellow as they are getting older and kind of aggressive.

They are probably Ideal 236es. Ideal Hatchery's Leghorn crossbreed layer strain.
they will grow to be white with a few black spots, and they are bred to produce lots of white eggs.

Great! Thanks for that. I bought them for eggs so glad and just doing my research I opted that they were leghorns, who funny enough, was one of my favorite cartoon characters.

Well, invested in another Ideal and two Ameraucanas, which are dear. Read they lay blue and green eggs so in love as I am anal about green being a redhead n all. :) They are all together and snug, so far. Love this new creature in my life, gives me a lil piece of country life again as I am a country girl living in the city.

I assume you mean Welsh Harlequin duck and not the Harlequin duck?
The could be a Welsh Harlequin duck, or at least part.

Welsh Harlequin, yes but definately not the beautiful Harlequin duck! The girl i got them from had them on trade so she wasnt quite sure what they were. Thank you for your reply.
