Now what?! Wild birds stuck in netting

Pics
After the first time they are likely to avoid the netting. Just keep picking them out.

I think they just can't see it, or can't judge the space of the netting holes. You might be able to cover the area with a very light piece of dark fabric so they learn to avoid the area.
Maybe some shade cloth. I am far from an expert at this. But. Me and my husband use shade cloth on top of part of the run. You can get all sizes from Amazon 🤷🏻‍♀️. Good luck

We had a major problem in Oregon, especially with starlings and the dreaded raccoons.
We didn't want food in the coop (tried it, ended up with a coop full of starlings), and the netting would eventually get shredded.
I'll try to find the link, but we finally settled on water nipples and a couple of feeders that opened with the weight of the chicken.
The feeders cut our food costs almost in half during the migration seasons.
Edit: found the link. Just FYI, the new feeders are spendy! We bought ours used, I had no idea they cost that much!
Also, just like the water nipples, we had to spend time with the gals until they got the hang of it.
