Unsure white patch

Hey Everyone

so far all of the help i have received on this page has been accurate and helpful so I’m hoping this will be the same.
I was feeding my hens some scraps this morning and noticed that one of them has this white patch on their comb I have no ideas what it is. The temperatures aren’t single figures and it isn’t extremely cold but it has been raining. I’m pretty sure she is malting of that means anything please help

i would try rinsing it off . If it doesn’t rinse off it is probably just dry skin .

Ok thankyou I have tried to brush it off but I will try to wash it off tomorrow

Could be dry skin. A bit of coconut oil might take care of it. If it gets worse then maybe favus, which is fungal. In that case an over the counter antifungal like miconazole applied couple of times a day should take care of it.
