Every single morning 2 hours a day for over a year I've been doing research and I've owner poultry since 2009. I've had over 200 poultry I've hatched and raised
I'm obsessed, right there some where with you give or take..hatching more than a thousand (chickens) throughout the years, having over 200 in just the last year.. and yet I've still got more to learn as evidenced earlier in this very thread. Believe it or not, I still consider myself a beginner too.

I'm sure you can understand how I misinterpreted your incubation experience statement. And I do apologize for being so cocky! (pun intended) I see you've edited your post to be more clear, good idea!

I hope you noticed the part where I set aside any of that and welcomed YOU and encouraged YOUR adventure! :jumpy:jumpy

This *should* be a perfect place to document your journey! I guess the opinions are in and nobody here (so far) is really FOR it though some have tried.

Did you also see post #8 by @NatJ which confirmed your concern about calcium deficiency may very well be a valid concern that you were expressing? Bacteria noted by others is the obvious challenge. The ONE chick in the video I posted did NOT appear to have a shortened life span... re your original thoughts/question.

to be honest, it is completely pointless. We already have videos that people have made in labs, where it is possible.

Exactly!

I understand that. I have been doing research and took my time to make sure I'm doing it correctly. I'm doing 40+ chicken eggs right now and 20 (PS-. I've hatched over 200 poultry birds and started in 2009! These are just for my friend and her husband!) are developing in my incubator right now. They're at 1 week and 3 days exactly. All I did was crack a little spot open so the chick could get its calcium and everything but I am able to still watch. Thank you for sharing!
Let's see some pictures or videos of the eggs you have in your bator now, please.

Ok? I'm not lying, all of my 41 Chicken eggs before I added my 42nd yesterday morning. I had to wait since the girl I'm getting from had to wait to get the specific egg she wanted. View attachment 3043973
I misunderstood. I thought you said you opened the shells and were incubating them with holes in them.

Absolutely not! That'd be ridiculous. I'm not trying it, especially after all of these comments telling me how heart breaking it is
Too bad I didn't think to take a screenshot of your other posts BEFORE you edited them again.

Please stop changing up your stories.
Every time you edit to change it shows a time stamp.
Not everyone is seeing exactly what you're changing in your post...which can make it look like you are lying.
In the future if you would like to change something just post a new post instead of deleting and changing stories in a post in the past.

I'm not doing it, Im asking a question. I don't know why so many people think I'm lying or that I'm doing it
The people who have been reading this thread from the beginning (including me) thought you were doing it, because of what your first two posts said:

I give an update if anything happens!

FUTURE UPDATE WILL GO HERE: :)

And your first response said:

That sure does make it sound like you are already doing it!

You've edited some of those posts to make it more clear now, but people who've been reading it all along tend to read the new posts, and assume the older ones say the same thing they did before. Once a thread has several replies, if you edit the first post, it helps to also make a new post that says something like "I edited the first post to clarify," which lets us know we should go re-read that one.

Thank you for pointing those responses out, I think they've been caught in a lie, either originally or now.

There's no point in erasing all you said, the quotes are already there....
No one would have even attacked you for trying this, they only advised against, looking out for the chicks, and you!
But going back on what you said, changing your story, is going to make people question you, because it's silly, and frustrating to the people who were trying to help
