Needing advice! This is a long winded post!!
Chunk is sick again! Last time (September) we thought she might have had an impacted egg and did 2 Epsom salts baths. She recovered quickly but stopped laying for about 5 weeks. She started re-laying for about 10 days.
November 1st I noticed her pulling away and I immediately brought her in to the house and put her in a tote. Epsom salts bathed her etc... and noticed she wasn’t wanting to eat or drink much. She did get injured the day before, as I accidentally stepped on her foot. She just walked away from all of us even though I followed her to see if she was ok. Could they stop eating because of a bruised foot? She still walks around just fine, no limp etc...

Her stool was watery and scant with a bit of green and sometime with a small sized poo about the size of long grain rice. (And stinky at the beginning ) She mostly would sleep and didn’t attempt to jump out of tote. Her name is Chunk because she was a bigger chick then the rest. She’s always had a bigger frame and was a solid bird with hefty sized breast. Over the course of this week she has lost a lot of weight!!! And has almost no breast.
I have fed her a bit of egg yolk for two mornings, and now she won’t eat that either. We made home made electrolytes, and gave her home made LAB, ACV, in her water, watered down crumble and spring lettuce pieces. We’ve done a few walk abouts outside, where she will do some pecking and scratching as well as eat the odd blade of grass. One time, I put her in the coop and she drank a lot of the murky water... I though maybe because it's cold, so I put ice in her water today while she was sitting on my lap and drinking.
I've taken her to the vet after a week and they tested her poo but there was nothing. The Vet said her feathers are healthy, comb and waddle are still good colour. They really couldn’t say... recommended Pedialyte and to try to get calories in. Her poop yesterday had a bit of white in it, so I was thinking that was a good sign and today she did hop in and out of the tote. She didn't care for the Pedialyte.
I've tried watered down tuna, and also grower crumbles in water. She seemed to drink the watery solution in both of those, but then refuses them the next day.
As we were outside the top hen did jump at her ( the other days there was nothing) after I brought her in she just snuggled down to sleep. Oh, I have been putting frankincense on the bottom of her feet, and other essential oils in her bath.
She generally 'seems' healthy but she is eating even less than before, so she is very complacent if I pick her up, or when I bathe her or blow dry her feathers. She doesn't try to walk away. Tonight she just stood sleeping on my lap as I petted her after she had a big drink of water. ( I don't know if she drank anything yesterday)
Any advice would be soooo grateful as I’m at a loss.

Has she been laying eggs? When was the last one?
How old is she?

She may be having some reproductive issues, feel her abdomen below the vent between her legs for bloat/swelling or feeling of fluid.
Check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight and look for any signs of lice/mites.

Work on getting her hydrated, then see if she will eat a little wet soupy feed.

She is 8 months and is an ISA Brown.
She was laying in the summer, but had a short stint where we thought she was egg bound.
it took about 5 weeks for her to lay again. She laid for about 10 days then when I accidentally stepped on her foot, she stopped and we are at over 2 weeks of her living in the house, not eating or drinking much. She will eat a bit of lettuce.

she behaves normally scratching when I take her out, just slower due to her weakness from not eating.

her crop is empty, no swelling whatsoever, she’s lost soooo much weight.
I don’t see any signs of mites.

Today we force fed her by syringe twice. One whole egg yolk along with Pedialyte, and she did do some drinking of water on her own. Then tonight after dinner, I took some mash potatoes in my fingers and she LOVED it. She didn't eat much of it, perhaps a few table spoons! But that's a good start. I will feed it to her tomorrow as well.
When we took her for 'outdoor' time, she mostly kept eating dirt/mud. Again I am hoping that that is a good sign...
Here she is, with the cutest mash potato face! Ohhh they make me laugh!

Glad she's eating a little!
With her not laying eggs, I would suspect a reproductive problem.
I would still check her crop. Chickens do eat dirt and mud, but she may have been looking for suitable grit (small rocks/crushed granite) so you may want to provide some grit for her free choice while she's inside.

My vet was able to tell me that my chicken had cancer and heart/lung issues by testing her poop. With the weight loss, I suspect that something is going on. All my chickens with weight loss have some issue. I would just try to support her as best you can. Its so hard to say exactly what is wrong with her without running more tests. My vet recently did a blood test on my duck and was able to tell me her calcium is too high causing laying issues. She is doing better once I cut out the extra calcium I was giving her. Just try your best to keep her eating and drinking! I would also try to consult with an avian vet.

Yes, I have a small dish of grit in her tote with her... she doesn't touch it. I'm wondering if the grit is too big and she prefers the mud, hummm? I can always bring in med for her!)
