Unusual acting hen please help

Ok, but sounds like she’s improving, yes?

Oh yes the first couple of days she couldn’t walk she would walk very unstable and now she is walking much better eating and drinking a lot better then before she now can aim at the dish the only thing now is her head shaking uncontrollably and hangs her head down

seem to be having a hard time walking a long distance please any help will be greatly appreciated here are some pictures of her she is about 22 weeks she is out now with the other girls but still having a hard time getting around

A little update still acting the same wish I knew what was wrong feel bad

Update my hen seem to be a lot better her head is still shaking has anyone ever heard of a chicken with lack of vitamin e? I think she has what’s called Encephalomalacia it’s a vitamin E deficiency also called the crazy chicken

About 5 days ago my 8 month old barred rock hen’s waddle became lighter, so we didn’t think much of it. This morning, we found her limp in her legs, so we separated her in a spectate cage. When we checked her tonight she was dieing and laying down with her eyes closed. We didn’t feel an egg in her vent, but that had been the first time he had ever looked for that. What could this be? No other birds have any other symptoms. Please help!

Can you upload a video of her actions to youtube, then provide us a link?

With her age and the symptoms you describe, it could very well be Marek's disease.
The head shaking sounds like a neurological symptom like Wry Neck which can be caused by Marek's.
You can try treating her with vitamins to see if there is improvement. Provide her with 400IU of Vitamin E daily along with 1/2 tablet human B-Complex vitamins. Give her some egg or tuna daily as well for Selenium-this helps with the uptake of E.

If she is having trouble eating/drinking, then you may need to assist her.
