Unusual coating on egg

Hi everyone. I posted photos of an egg that my Blue Cuckoo Marans lays on a daily basis. It appears to be a dark brown color but the top is covered in a white coating that's permanent and can not be washed or scratched off. If I wet the entire egg the white will disappear and the egg will appear to be all brown. When the egg dries then the white reappears. Has anyone else have an egg that does this?

Nothing to worry about. It's just a bit of extra calcium that was laid down when the "bloom" was deposited. The bloom seals the shell against bacteria and moisture loss.
