Unusual French Wheaton Marans chick

Hi everyone,

I have just hatched 9 French Wheaton Marans chicks and one in particular is standing out as having rather unusual colouring. Eight of them are a lovely light yellow colour as I was expecting but the one here in the picture has dark stripes on its back and it looks like it wearing eyeliner.

Does anyone know what this could mean and if this pattern is also a sex linked pattern?
