Unusual swelling in hen's foot

Did she get anything besides layer feed? Any other symptoms? Everything else normal (crop function, poop, behavior)?

Didn't see Nything else out of the ordinary. Crop was normal for the early morning, good looking poops. Behavior, she was awake, but didn't want to move from the corner except to take a few quick bites of food, then right back to laying in that same corner.

Oh, also they get regular free range time every day in our yard. Fresh grass, bugs, leaves, wild mint.

That's a definite possibility for sure. Will have to read more closely.
