After easter when the youngsters get tired of there easter chicks contact me and i will take them off your hands
 
Umm... I don't think anyone here will be doing the Easter chick thing, or rabbit for that matter.

Yeah, most of us don't get tired of chicks and get rid of them. We just keep collecting more!

In a different thread we talked about posting a thread where people could put links to adds (like craigslist) of unwanted easter chicks..
That is what this thread is for.
 
I woud be very, very hesitant about getting chicks from multiple locations and bringing them onto my place. I highly doubt they came from a really good hatchery to begin with, no doubt weren't vaccinated for anything, kept in cramp unhealthy condiotons then sent home to inadequate care. Screams disease outbreak to me.

Even when I get chicks from a good hatchery I keep them isolated from my other birds for at least a month if not 2. I've never had any bring anything in, but I'm not going to gamble with their health.
