Ok so my flock I got this spring I have twenty pullets amber sex links and black sex links and 1 white leghorn of a mystery age but I am guessing she is pretty young as she does not lay every day and her eggs seem kind of on the small size. well lately I am not getting that many eggs after getting 18 eggs for a few days then it went to 18 on day and 12 the next ?

With shorter days, production usually drops but not quite so dramatically with young birds. Some birds will also molt their first autumn. Are you seeing lots of feathers about?
yes there are quite a few fluffy looking feathers though this is my first flock so it might not really be a lot, I also keep them confined to the run 3-4 days out of the week do to having to run errands and on the other days I let them free range at least half the day

If any are molting, they'll start to look a bit scruffy but it will also look like someone had a pillow fight in there.
With 20 birds, it wouldn't be unusual to have at least one molting this time of year even if it is their first autumn.
Next year this time, they'll all be going through it.

no one looks scruffy yet though my leghorn looks kinda thin in comparison to the others lol

Did you get them as day olds...so you know exactly how old they are?
