They don't give shipping verification they say because of USPS inaccuracy; but say expect "within 72 hours". Now, watch them come in tomorrow while I am at work! :eek: Good thing I work around the corner from PO (of course I do not get off until 1400). Almost wish I could take off tomorrow, stand around awaiting mail. Then again, I need that job to support raising my chickie babies.

20 chicks a coming yaw'll. 10 are sexed and 10 straight run. Woooo, wonder how many roos. According to the math I would need, ummmmm, 3 roos to handle my flock (I think). I have eight girls brooding now (about to go into their coop within next few days. And, like I said, I have no idea how many pullets from the 10 straight run.

Either way, I am EGGSCITED, yaw'll!!!

FYI, the 10:1 ratio is based on fertility rate, not necessarily happy, healthy flock. In any case, good luck on your journey.

I'm excited for you , it's so great to get them home! I"m curious how many rooms you end up with.
