Update 2/7 Before and After pics! - Another stray, but such a cutie!

OT - Jody,

Is there a tech named Jill at your vet's office?

~ Nikki

You Know Nikki, I'm not really sure. We go to Country Doctor. Do you know someone there? They are just wonderful with the animals and have been a great help with everything.

ILoveJoe - Did you check www.lostandpound.com ? They seem to have a decent network of found pets. I think our local animal control checks there when people call in about lost animals. Last stray I posted there I did get some calls from folks wondering if he was theirs.

I PM'd you

This is a really old thread, but I figured I'd give it some closure.

My friend who quarantined the cat for us is allergic to cats and her boyfriend, it turns out, is REALLY allergic to cats. They did a huge favor by keeping her for the quarantine despite their allergies.

A few days ago, they gave the cat to a friend who wanted her. But then this guy's girlfriend came over with her dog who attempted to eat the stray

So he said he can't keep her since there would be too much static with his girlfriend and her dog - honestly, this is a good sign you need a new girlfriend, but far be it from me to intervene there.

Anyway, she is back at our place. Seems to be getting along reasonably well with our 3 other cats.

My DH just looked at her and said "This poor thing has been moved around enough. Why don't we just keep her?"

We put it to a family vote and surprise, surprise, we now have cat #4. She is up to 11 pounds now too! Quite the bowling ball! I'll have to get recent pics...

Including the chickens, hermit crabs, cats, and hamster, we are up to 22 pets. No more pets unless they can pay their way! I'm thinking maybe goats next...

Ok, here are some before and after shots.

OMG that doesn't even look like the same cat!!! She's gorgeous. Wow. She looks very loved and cared for. I'm glad for you that she didn't have the rabies or any of the other kitty diseases.
