OK, I'm sure there will be some that disagree with me, but that's OK.
Absolutely hold her-she will imprint on you(which isn't a bad thing IN MY OPINION). It will make her feel more secure and she won't be lonely.

they imprint realy good when they are lone ducks. Thats what I did for a week with Elliot untill Gemini was born, he lived on the kitchen table in a tote with his morror and teddy duck. Lots of cuddles, I would sit and watch TV lying on a towel and he would sit on my shoulder and fall asleep

If you're holding her, just put her down in the brooder every now and then to see if she wants anything.

Awwww I am so sorry about your ducklings.

You would think Metzers would take this cold weather AND the holiday into account when they start shipping. Their customer service is awesome though. I'm willing to bet they will replace them.

You're doing great with her. If you REALLY want to spoil her(and of course, who can resist), try feeding her out of your hand.

Okay, I just have to throw this in. DO NOT use medicated chicken feed for your ducks. The coccidiostat in it can give some ducks problems. If you can't find water fowl feed, NON-medicated chick starter works fine. I just don't want you to have any more disappointments with your duckies from something preventable. Given that the other two were not eating well, this wasn't an issue with them, but since your remaining lil' girl is doing better and eating, check your feed to make sure it's non-medicated. If not, feed dry scrambled eggs, yogurt, cooked WHOLE GRAIN noodles (no processed grains like bread), and mixed veggies until you can get the right feed.
