Got a crow did ya?

I have two silkies, 23 weeks old, still no crow or egg. Gender still in question. If indeed one is a roo, I suspect he hasn't crowed because I have two alpha roos.

Your bird is very handsome

I'm a little late posting. I think he was 20 weeks when he started crowing. He's 33 weeks now. The only other rooster was younger, so nothing was stopping him.

I love his personality and I always tell him he's handsome (although he has the wrong comb for show quality). Looking back at this post I notice that he did stand upright most of the time, where the ones who were pullets usually kept their bodies more parallel to the ground. The Sizzle pullet (Silkie and Frizzled Bantam Cochin Mix) didn't start laying until about 23 weeks.
