Update- Day 10 Candling Results- Fertile Eggs Under My Broody

Got out the mag lite and candled the eggs tonight. It was so incredible! Four of the eggs were obviously keepers- dark spot with lots of veining and clear movements. Two weren't obviously quitters- no blood ring was apparent, I just don't have enough experience to know for sure what I was seeing. Compared to the others, one seemed to have an especially large air cell. Since I wasn't sure I just slipped them back underneath Cutie. I will candle again around day 14. (If I can wait that long!) I am excited to see so clearly that the majority of the eggs are viable at this point!

Will a regular flashlight work for candeling? New to this as well.. on day 11.. I was going to try last night but didn't want to bother silky. What's the easiest way to candle?
