Why thank you! I didn't know if I should candle sooner to look for those without air cells etc.
So I looked at them quickly. It is day 5 (set them on Sunday 4/10 at 10:30 am) and I have some weird stuff that didn't look this way in my "fresh eggs" for my first hatch. First, I have one egg that has like "bubbles" in it around the air cell. When I turn the egg, the air bubbles always stick together and move around freely, almost like there is water in the egg.
I also have many that have "loose" air cells that move as I turn the egg.
Very very few have any visible veining yet and those JUST barely. NONE have the "spider" that I saw early on with my first hatch. Did I do something wrong or is this classic of shipped eggs?
They were delivered on Thursday the 7th and set on the Sunday 10th. During the resting time I kept them large end up at 60*. Got them to room temp before setting.
My temp MAY have been a little low the first day or so while I was waiting for the temp to stabilize but otherwise.. I did everything I thought I should do. Ideas??
