It was a wonderful day when I found this bunch!

thanks for replying i thought you might know something new on the subject. i love hatching with hens.. to see her run around in the yard with her children is just a peaceful wonderful thing to watch.
i have a huge dog.. "straydawg" given to me anonymously by a secret friend.. and she helps take care of them ..ive read that most hens today are breed not to go broody.. i have had two..both of them bantams and they love to do it over and over. once the hen nest fell down onto the floor of the chicken house and she rounded up all the eeggs and fixed herself a new nest in the fallen nest and continued her work.. all hatched. i was so proud of her.
aint this fun? i do love reading about the adventures of my cyber friends and feeling like im a part of the family.. i hope judy
