Put on leather gloves, hold there body firmly, grab there head, twist (rotate) hard and fast. There will chirp a few times loudly and then it is over. Or put them on the ground and use a shovel if it is easier for you.

I don't think I can do that, I'm going to try and do some research right now and see if there's a painless way of doing it, if anyone knows of a way that won't hurt please tell me...

wicked sharp kitchen shears and cut it's head off-do not be scared or you wont be able to doit all the way causing more pain than neccessary to him-make it quick and fast..Im so sorry!

Yep, the CO2 puts them to sleep (unconcious) first, and it's supposedly painless.
I'm so sorry for you!

Well I did it...my internet went down when I went to do my research and I had just run out of vinegar so I couldn't do that co2 method...I just took hubby and mother in law's advice and just took em outside and did it quickly with my .22
Took me a couple of hours to compose myself again, but I think I'm almost ok now. I'm sure the vodka hubby picked up on his way home from work will help the rest of the way, I should be ok tomorrow. Thank you all for your support and advice...at least out of 100 I only lost 3 which I reckon is a good percent considering
