Thank u tomorow at the vet (where he has a pet farmacy) i hope he have it if not i searched up that peas help them well idkIt’s always best to supplement especially with Pekins they grow so fast it’s just best to give them more . And some ducks just need more too. I’d give them extra until they are at least 12 weeks old that’s when they slow down in fast growth. Then just watch to make sure their legs are strong and they aren’t having any problems. Nutritional yeast is a good way to give them extra niacin 1 Tablespoon over each cup of food you give them. If you opt for niacin make sure it isn’t time released or flush free.
The thing with the peas ITS just in case if the vet does not have niacin but just how much whould it cost?Peas are a good treat and do contain niacin but trying to figure out how much peas to feed them to get the amount of niacin they need can be tricky.
For niacinFor peas? I rarely buy them I give my flock nutritional yeast on their feed
Oh okI use Nutritional yeast to supply the niacin my birds need.
