yeah.. it's just for my children mainly lol. and i hate baking with eggs from the store.. my chickens are NOT laying and i am NOt happy. but i have holiday bakin i need to do... albiet with store bought eggs. ugh. some one come talk with my chickens and tell them they need to lay some eggs haha.

you have given me a great idea to keep the kids busy this Christmas break they can make bath fizzies and bubble bath, I plan on using cookie cutters as molds, just pour it into the mould... do you think it would work?

I found that taking the axe out to the chicken coop and threatening to use it on any hen not producing her share of eggs will get them going...

You may try to give them some cal and extra scratch, also suplementing some extra light might help.... I had a bit of an issue when my timed light went out and I started to get fewer eggs... now they seem to be getting back on track... also look for egg eaters... I have one of those and still haven't been able to figure out who it is...

I love the bath salt idea... I'm gonna try that next. You might also try doing a lotion bar for the kids... My DH loves them better than liquid lotion because it doesn't get everywhere...
