I've been blessed to meet this little duck in person and she is something else. It's pretty incredible what all she's been through and she's still "truckin'". She's quite an inspiration to me.

But I've also been blessed to know Micro Duck's "Mom" and she's pretty incredible too. If it wasn't for her diligent, tender loving care, Micro Duck wouldn't be here. I have a little spraddle-legged guinea hen that Chickensioux raised. She wouldn't be here either if it weren't for the tender, loving care she received from birth. (By the way, she gets along just fine even though she is spraddle-legged. Chickensioux did everything in her power, night and day, to keep it from happening, but it happened anyway). So now Footina lives with me and is in love with my one-legged guinea, Mikey, who lost his leg just below the elbow in a freak accident. They are so cute and sweet together. One of their eggs just hatched in the incubator and it's a fine, healthy baby. How about that??

Just goes to show what real love can do.
