Yes, you sure are! Welcome to the world of goats! They are a lot of fun but they will drive you crazy on a regular basis too with their naughtiness. They can squeeze out the tiniest space, open gates, go over, under, around or thru fences and just basically get into all kinds of mischief. Enjoy your ride!

Glad your little one got back home.

I just found this thread. I was in tears. And than when I read the update I started crying again in relief. I am so glad you found him. Leave it to a baby goat to hide.

Our two Nigi's are just plain SASSY! Sweet, cute & playful. We have a 6ft high no-climb horse fence for their pasture. I gave up after them jumping over or climbing through the 4ft field fence. Now they are as safe as I can reasonably get. There are NO guarantees with little goaties, they are full of mischief! But we definitely love them.

I'm just so shocked the missing one didn't cry it's head off.

When my two nubians got out of sight of each other, they cried like babies.

I'm so happy to hear a happy ending. I found it strange you could lose one not hear a peep from either one once separated.

You'll have to be careful.

Glad your found him. We had the same thing happen to us the day we brought home 2, 3month old Boers. The one ran off into the 20 acres of woods and was in there for 3 days before my uncles and cousins (12 total) went in an sprinted her until she was so tired she just dropped. Every day is full of adventure and laughter when you have goats.
