Update! New Pics! Bantys, what breeds?

I was thinking, the one could be a RIR bantam, I know alot of hatcheries sell them and McMurrays RIR bantams are said to be show type.

Our TSC said they get their chicks from Mt. Healthy, the web site just lists assorted bantams. I had thought RIR too. Then I saw some in TSC and bought one, it's a standard though. Neither that one or the 30 other in the bin were that dark. I haven't been able to find a pic of a chick this dark.

Tis quite frustrating. For now I am going to assume RIR, if someone has a pic of one this dark I'd love to see it!

the one you dont know what color it is is a Blue Red OEGB

"she" looks so much lighter than the ones in the pictures I've looked at though. Or are you looking at the darker chipmunk on top? I thought that one was a Black breasted red, love the blue red though!

Show Quality Rhode Island Reds are very dark. With that said though, I'm not 100% positive that is a RIR bantam but it could be.

I tried to get a close pic of the reds wings but it wouldn't focus right.

I am also wondering about the personalities of OEG. I have 3 but I have no idea if they are boys or girls. what if at least 2 are boys, will they need to be kept apart completely? they will be free range, so hopefully room to roam will help?
I'm still wondering about the color of the lightest OEG, if any one has any ideas. Cannot find a picture of a chick colored like that.

I don't know what breed but that little red one has the cutest little wings. They look awesome! So short and stubby compared to the others. You have a bunch of cuties. I esp. like the polish.

I love him too! I'm thinking RIR. He is the slowest to feather out, that lil bit on his wings is all he has. I saw the polish and had to grab it for my son, he loves the chickens with the wild "hair." If you want to see something funny, give them some mac n cheese to fight over!!
