Sometimes when I get asked a question I think the answer but fail to say it out loud.

And when I want my some one to get something done, I forget to say it out loud, hee hee

Haven't started dreaming BYCers yet, but you folks surely do get quoted and referred to a lot in my conversations of late, and my friends' eyes are starting to get that glassy look every time their ears hear the word "chickens" ...

ETA: for clarity, I supposed I should have phrased that differently; this way it sounds like my friends' eyes actually have ears... LOL! they don't. My friends are normal. for the most part. or not. depends on who you ask. (and don't ask for their Depends). what can I say? it's late...

you make me, promises promises....

got that song in your head now?

Contrary to what you all believe...I DO need encouragment. Maybe not need it but desire it, long to have it, crave it, want it, gotta have it...

Everyone needs encouragement.

When my doggies go outside I tell them, "Doooo iiiiiiit. Dooooo your busineeeeeessss." and they do. good dogs.

me,

Whaaaaaaaatttttt up Cracker????!!!!!

Jeez, I miss saying "Goodnight Cracker!"

You are right about our precious g.....she doesn't need any help firing up that sinister imagination...the rest of us require aquadots to reach that zenith....and sometimes just to translate.

for example:

g's posts normally: r6iuxrv7iymcle"XJ7ye6kumczucz;dluk cuokypoxjyaeeuju

g's post (after taking aquadots): ...and while my dog, DD and chickens were vaseline-ing up the lawnmower, a raccoon ate my sister's easter bonnett while the neighbor kids shot pellets at a tin plate and shot their eyes out.....

And while I was out picking my dd up from school yesterday...I drove by a loveseat placed at the end of a drive on the side of the road.

It looked like a nice one in fact. I also knew who's drive it was and figured it couldn't be half bad.

I saw someone mowing but they had a bandana around their face and a hat on...probably was the man in question but couldn't be sure. I saw a woman unloading things. I drove up the drive and parked and knocked. Said I saw the couch at the end of the drive but didn't want to be presumptious. She said, It's yours, go ahead and take it. She walked down and helped me load it even. What a very nice woman.

I asked, though I knew, is this Heflin's house? Yes it is. And I told her my mom just went to his show on Sunday. She said they tried something different this time. I said my mom really liked it.

She asked if I had anyone to help me unload and I said, well, my husband's in Iraq but I will just wait for my teenage neighbor to get off the bus. She told me to tell him that she really appreciates all they do for us and told me to hang in there and take care.

I drove away feeling quite pleased that I got a very nice and intact loveseat for my library at no charge. So there's a little bit of artists paint on it....but it's Heflin's paint. So that just makes it all that much cooler.

Here's his website:

oh
and I couldn't close the back of the van once we got it in but I only live a mile away so I drove slow and my 7 year old reached her arm back and "held" it she said. ha ha ha....she's so helpful.

She thinks it's her and her little sisters size. I told her it's called a loveseat. She still thinks it's made for little kids. What a nice comfy place to read books.

toodles!

and pboo...I'm hangin.

me,
g
