Both the body check eggs showed no development by day twelve so I removed them from the incubator. I find the permeability at the ring area interesting. If it was extra calcium it shouldn't be "clear" I would think. Out of sixteen eggs, I've had one that started oozing, one that started to smell, these two, and two other with no development. I'm down to 10! One I have waxed what looks like a hairline fracture. It is a Marans egg so seeing what's going on in there is all but impossible. It does look like it is developing though. The rest have obvious development and some I have witnessed movement. Crossing my fingers!

Were these shipped eggs or your own? Assuming shipped, so that's not too shabby really to be down to 10 out of 16 at Day 12!

Hopefully, you'll get all 10!

Neither actually. I drove an hour to pick them up. I would never try to incubate funky eggs like that from my own girls. I only tried because i paid for them and what would it hurt? I'm realizing now I should have put this on the original post but oh well! I'd love to get all ten! Thanks for the encouragement!

Oh, now I remember! Yes, it helps to keep the info together. No biggy though.
