Update on Brahmas and Orpingtons...no idea what color to call this!

Well friends, my "designer" Orpingtons and Brahmas are much bigger now. Their feet are all either white or gray. Seriously though, what is with the pearl, off white, whatever you want to call it color? Is that a thing? I have two that color!

They look like mixes, no real standard color.

I agree. They aren't breed standard colors. I didn't know that when I got them, but I've learned a lot since then. I don't even know what to call the white colored ones! I'm not too snobby about my birds. I won't be selling their eggs or offspring unless someone wants them with full disclosure. They look neat. I'd punch the lady I got them from now tho, knowing that she acted like she was selling me premium chicks, only to be giving me these guys.

I love my mixes just as much as my purebreds (the hen in my avatar picture is a mix). It is extremely frustrating when people sell chickens under false pretenses.
