Update on Egg laying!

Heres an update on how are barred rocks are doing with laying eggs! So far our easter egger has not layed any eggs but I will post something about that when it happens. Anyway, only ONE of our barred rocks are actually laying eggs, and the layer is the chicken we thought was a rooster! Her name is Charlie, and so far she has been laying an egg every morning, and we are easily able to tell the difference between hers and our buff orpington, Potato, eggs. Potato eggs are rough and thin and Charlie eggs are smooth and have teeny white speckles all over them. Potato lays an egg almost every day and Charlie lays an egg every day now, so yeah.
