UPDATE ON LOLA

Gave Lola a blanket today to see what she would do..... She fluffed it up and laid down and used it for a pillow..lol Poor girl is miserable but she's starting to fill up with milk! This evening I went to check on her and she was making these strange grunts. They came like hiccups, but it was grunts. Non stop even going to the bathroom. I tried to look up what that particular noise meant but couldn't find anything

How is Lola doing today? Any piglets yet?

Y'all!!! I'm so EXCITED !!! Went out today to check on her and she's full speed gathering stuff for her bed!! Barely touched her food, tootie is super swollen too. We're getting ready for babies!!!

Sorry it took so long for an update. It's been crazy around here. Lola had 7 babies, 4 girls and 3 boys. BUT she rejected the entire litter. She tried stomping, biting, everything she could to get rid of them. Even burying one. I have been so heartbroken. We did everything we could for the babies from colostrum replacement to round the clock feeds and keeping them inside my bathroom staying warm. We lost all but 1 of the babies. This little guy is most definitely a fighter. He has more than doubled his weight and is doing really well. Here are some pics of the baby! The others were GORGEOUS and I'll post pics of them too
