Thank you, we can use all the prayers we can get. The vet sent us home with a bunch of stuff to stuff down her throat. 12 cc's juvenile formula liguid food, and 3 cc's sulfa. Way too much, I think. Maybe I poormouthed too much, but I think he should;ve kept her overnight and given her fluids all night; I would've paid for that. As it is, she threw back up a lot of what we shoved down her. She sort of convulsed and was flopping around; we finally settled her with a towel pillow to help support her, and she went to sleep, but I was kicking myself for not just following my gut instinct..to put her down. AS it is I feel like we just tortured her. WE did not treat her this morning; my son said she was very weak, did not eat, and reeked of vomit. I had to go out of town on business this morning and have been gone all day; soon as I change my clothes and finish up here I will head out to the barn but I certainly don't expect any miracles, and we will probably end up putting her down today if it is not already too late. I have already made arrangements with the vet, again. Thanks, everyone who listened...we appreciate your thoughts, help, support and prayers.
